Our Mission The Inspectional Services Department is a customer service department oriented to the review and inspection process that provides for the necessary public health, safety, environmental and community concerns in an efficient, effective, timely and cost efficient manner. The Inspectional Services Department (ISD) encompasses the following operating divisions: Building, Electrical, Gas & Plumbing, Health & Sanitation, Facilities Management, and Planning & Conservation. These divisions will enforce all codes, laws, and ordinances relating to their respective divisions. The Department will also be responsible for the promulgation of policy set by the various boards acting through the ISD. |
