The electrical division is responsible for the following tasks, enforcement of the State Building Code as it is applicable to electrical fixtures and wires. This includes issuance of permits for the construction, repair and alteration of electrical fixtures and wires, and all applicable inspections. This department also deals with maintenance of the traffic signals in the City and the fire alarm call box system.
